Come and experience the world of birds with me. You don't have to go far - just out your back door!
How pretty! I've never seen one in San Antonio.
We've had huge flocks of robins here this winter, Steph. It's always a treat to have them around.
I've only ever seen one American Robin in my life. What does one have to do to attract them?
To be honest, I'm not sure what attracts them, Jayne. I don't do anything in particular other than plant and care for my garden to make it "homey" for all birds. Some years my yard is overrun with robins and some years I hardly see any. This has been a good winter for them.
I saw five yesterday along a creek. I'm sure they managed to overwinter here this year as it was unusually mild.
I think they've been seen in many areas where they don't normally occur in winter, troutbirder, and all because of the extremely mild winter throughout the continent.
