WOW! That color is gorgeous. I've heard of sightings of painted buntings in the hill country. I've never seen a bunting before.
I would probably just faint dead away if a Painted Bunting showed up in my yard, Steph. Gorgeous birds! But the Indigo Buntings are no slouches in the beauty department either and I can depend on them visiting me every April.
