Now that you mention it, I've seen quite a bit of tail pumping, so I may have some. Whichever they are, they're entertaining and I will miss them when they head south.Jaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09993407315693699146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9056621443294652468.post-19751139024984820592011-09-18T16:41:48.308-05:002011-09-18T16:41:48.308-05:00Hey, Elkhartjim! I think their new direction sucks, but perhaps I'm prejudiced. Anyway, I'm delighted when any of my old Chronicle readers turn up at this site and I look forward to hearing more from you.Dorothy Bordershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12441731296027227394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9056621443294652468.post-24347407216915403562011-09-18T16:06:29.435-05:002011-09-18T16:06:29.435-05:00I posted on an earlier blog...but I'm glad to ...I posted on an earlier blog...but I'm glad to have found you again. The Rufous, on the other hand, is quite distinct - even the female. I have a two females hanging around my feeder and after reading your post, I'm sure one is a female Red Ruby Throat. I have a male RRT that only allows the female RRT to approach the feeder. I have yet to see a Rufous. I'm still hoping one will stop by.Steph@RamblingWrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08747425786972900993noreply@blogger.com
